This is the premium PALight, with a special strobe light mode for emergency purposes.
One of the earliest LED flashlights ever invented, the venerable Survival has remained
a perennial favorite. Its design has been enhanced and upgraded over the years, and
the latest LEDs make it remarkably bright and long-lasting for its small size. Given as
a gift, the Survival will be used and enjoyed for years by anyone, whether young or old.
And the Survival is also rugged enough for military personnel and outdoor adventurers.
Yet the cost of ownership is surprisingly low, making the Survival an exceptional value.
We now install a very fresh, premium quality Energizer alkaline battery in each Survival
immediately prior to shipment (instead of the typical "heavy-duty" zinc-chloride battery
from the factory). Enjoy the outstanding features and performance of the Survival at its
very best, with the superior lifespan and characteristics of this American-made battery.

Availability Note: As of September 2004, many of the special accessory items were
discontinued. For quite some time, only the Black body color was available, but we
are bringing back limited quantities of the other five body colors while stock remains.
And Survival is once again available with White or Red or Green or Blue LED colors.
Availability Update: As of November 2013, the factory has sold off all of its remaining
stock of colored bodies for the Survival. So only the Black body color will be available
from us after our remaining inventory of colored bodies is depleted (as listed below for
each variation). But all four LED colors (White, Red,
Green, Blue) will remain available.

> The economical Always On mode lets you locate your PALight easily in the dark.
> Handy Low Beam mode is suitable for night reading and other low-light activities.
> Powerful High Beam mode provides maximum brightness and beam throw range.
