We are interested in establishing reciprocal and/or third-party link exchanges with
very high quality commercial, educational, or institutional websites. Increasing the
numbers of inbound links to a website will improve its performance in most search
engine results. However, the quality and relevance of the inbound links is also very
important to many search engine ranking algorithms. We will not engage in a third
party exchange that involves providing a high-quality outbound link from our website
in exchange for a poor-quality inbound text link from a page-rank-zero directory site
(also known as a link farm), unbalanced link requests of that nature will be rejected.
We will not establish an outbound link without a receiving a reciprocal link pointing
back to our Home page (except for certain specific instances of our choosing, and
those will not ever result from requests submitted via this online exchange system).
We will not establish outbound links to pornographic websites, nor to any websites
whose primary purpose is the espousal of specific religious or political viewpoints.
We will not knowingly establish outbound links to any websites that spawn annoying
pop-up windows, or that attempt to automatically install software of any kind, but we
cannot be held responsible for the faults, actions, or operation of any other website.
We also do not provide links to websites published in languages other than English.
A page with an inbound link to us should have a Google™ page rank of 2 or higher.
If we agree to establish a link exchange with your website, our outbound text link to
that site will be created on our Additional Business Links page, with qualified busi-
nesses listed alphabetically. If a company to which we have established such a link
subsequently purchases at least $100 (in merchandise value) from our online store,
that company can request an upgrade of their link to our primary Links page, which
currently has a Google™ page rank of 3. Banner (logo) style links are reserved for
suppliers that provide services to Flashlights Unlimited, or for businesses that offer
affiliate commissions or other compensation programs that we may deem suitable.
Once a reciprocal link has been established with Flashlights Unlimited, we will con-
tinue to provide the outbound link for as long as our partner's website maintains its
original link to us. We reserve the right to remove any outbound links from our web-
site for which the reciprocal inbound links us to are removed or become inoperable,
or if for any reason or at any time we decide that a link partner's website content or
business operations are not in keeping with the standards of Flashlights Unlimited.
These limitations are intended to maintain high quality for our link resource program.
If you would like to establish a reciprocal link arrangement with Flashlights Unlimited,
please complete and submit the Link Exchange Request Form in the section below.
We will review and respond to most link exchange queries within two business days.
Link farm and porn site webmasters, do not waste your time or ours, the answer will
always be 'NO'. Incomplete or inappropriate link exchange requests will be ignored.
Your reciprocal link to Flashlights Unlimited can be created using the information pro-
vided below. You may change the wording of the Link Description if required to meet
content limitations of your link format. Likewise, we reserve the right to modify the link
name and descriptive text of our outbound link to you, as needed to match our format.
Websites that pre-establish their link to us will receive priority handling. Websites that
do not establish a reciprocal link to us within thirty days after approval will be removed.
