This is a completely new and different type of flashlight, and the very first of its kind.
Developed specially for Flashlights Unlimited, this unique lighting instrument has a
singular specific application: visual inspection. While most of the white LED flash-
lights made today have been optimized for high brightness or extended runtime or
long beam throw range, this flashlight is instead intended to provide the smoothest
and most perfect beam image possible. The result is a light source that allows you
to perform close-range visual inspections of surface quality with unparalleled clarity.
Thanks to a special diffuser lens, the pristine beam image is completely free of any
artifacts or irregularities that might otherwise obscure miniscule visual details (such
as surface blemishes or contamination) during inspections. Extremely fine grained
diffusion thoroughly scatters light in all directions, eliminating any surface shadows.
And a powerful Cree XR-E series LED is selected from their Neutral White spectral
range (3700°K to 5000°K), to provide improved color rendering and a reduced blue
emphasis when compared with typical Cool White flashlight emitters. So whether in
the office or in the field, in ambient room light or in total darkness, this new flashlight
will help you to visualize surfaces and materials in exquisite detail. A must-have tool
for inspectors, investigators, technicians and scientists in any discipline who need a
bright and balanced and perfectly diffused white light source for visual detail checks.
For folks who need a portable inspection light on a regular daily basis, we also offer
an optional lithium ion rechargeable battery system. It includes two premium 18650
lithium ion rechargeable batteries. These are twice as long as CR123A disposable
types, so only one is needed to power the flashlight. You can have one battery in the
flashlight while the other is in the charger, allowing extended operation intervals. But
the high-quality charger has two independent slots, and can charge both batteries at
once when needed. Both 120VAC linepower and 12VDC automotive power cords
are included, so you can recharge at home or while on the go. The universal voltage
charger can run on 240VAC overseas power without an expensive voltage converter.
