Upgrade Note: If you've had an old Coleman rechargeable flashlight for many
years like I have, you just don't want to throw it away. But let's face it, the poor
old dear just wasn't all that bright to begin with. Well, now you can upgrade it,
with the latest technology LED lamp bulb, and get a much brighter and whiter
and smoother light, while more than doubling the run time per recharge! This
bulb lasts thousands of hours, and eliminates future bulb replacement. Check
out the Nite Ize LED upgrade bulb below, it fits every model in the 5387 series.
Upgrade your outdated 5387 with this dramatically brighter long-life bulb, add
our high energy batteries, and you'll have a flashlight that's really worth having!
The latest 55-lumen Nite Ize LED bulb costs $5 less than the earlier TerraLUX
upgrade, but yields similar power and performance. Buy it once, use it forever.
Battery Replacement Note: Attempt battery replacement only for the Coleman
flashlight models that have readily removable batteries (such that there are not
any electrical wires soldered directly to the batteries themselves). If your older
5387-700 series flashlight has a clicky pushbutton switch instead of the quieter
slide switch, and if it has wires soldered directly to its batteries inside, then the
batteries in your version are NOT user replaceable. Take those flashlights to a
nearby recycler, or send them to us for proper disposal of their nickel-cadmium
batteries. Contact us if you need assistance with bulb or battery replacements.
Flashlights that look identical to either type shown above (with bone white body
and a gray slide switch) all have user-replaceable batteries, and you can easily
purchase correct replacement batteries below for your particular model number.
Our batteries all have higher energy storage capacities, and will provide longer
run times per charge than the original factory batteries did when they were new.
