Arm is the perfect solution. Astro Arm will hold your flashlight securely in place
for hours, aiming light exactly where you need it, without fatigue or complaints.
Can also hold other items of varying shapes and sizes (see load limits below).
Astro Arm is available in two sizes, to fit either small or large flashlights, and in
two mounting versions. The spring clamp version has a strong rubber-coated
clamp for attachment to work surfaces and tables. The magnetic base version
has a powerful magnet for attachment to ferrous surfaces (great for automotive
and refrigeration applications). The flexible support arm rotates 360º, and can
be positioned at any angle. The unique flashlight retainer utilizes an adjustable
elastic strap to accommodate flashlights and instruments of varying diameters.
Applications include vehicle maintenance, heating and air conditioning service,
telephone system work, emergency medical lighting, and promotional displays.

New Products: Astro Arm expansion accessories are available now. Segment
packs
contain lengths of flexible armature (six or ten segments), used to extend
the length of existing Astro Arm units. A special tool greatly simplifies the disas-
sembly and reassembly of armature segments. Astro Arm segment packs and
assembly pliers are available in both Mercury (Small) and Gemini (Large) sizes.
Now you can make your Astro Arm as long or as short as you need it to be (note
that significantly extending the length of the arm will reduce its rigid weight limit).

Mercury models are suitable for smaller (AA-cell) flashlights weighing
up to six ounces and having a maximum barrel diameter of up to 1-5/8".
These models have a single retainer strap and weigh about four ounces.
The fully extended length of the flexible arm alone, not including the
clamp base or flashlight retainer assembly, is approximately 5-3/4".
Models with Yellow color segments offer improved acid resistance.
Clamp Model: maximum clamp jaw opening 1", clamp length 4-1/8".
Magnet Model: 2" base diameter, 25 pound magnet pull strength.

Gemini models are suitable for larger (C & D-cell) flashlights weighing
up to one pound and having a maximum barrel diameter of up to 2-5/8".
These models have two retainer straps and weigh ten to eleven ounces.
The fully extended length of the flexible arm alone, not including the
clamp or magnet base and flashlight retainer assembly, is approxi-
mately 7-1/4" for the Clamp model, or 5-3/4" for the Magnet model.
Clamp Model: maximum clamp jaw opening 2", clamp length 6-1/4".
Magnet Model: 2-5/8" base diameter, 35 pound magnet pull strength.
